It suits the rugged Australian conditions, where many travellers wish to spend many days away from mains-powered sites, being self-reliant, but with an ever-increasing range of electrical devices.  We proudly release an updated model, with many enhancements. Transfer mode has now been added, so you can efficiently move charge from your auxiliary battery to your caravan or camper without running your engine. This may remove need for solar or generator. 

The RanOx™ Battery Booster delivers the best mobile voltage and current feed to a Caravan, Camper, Trailer or Auxiliary (4WD or Motor-Home) battery available today. It takes the limited feed from your car/engine and "boosts" it to provide a controlled (multi-stage) regulated supply to this "leisure" battery. This provides much higher stored charge, prolonging the life of the battery and ensuring maximum capacity to run all those 12V devices at your remote campsite.

It suits a variety of Lead-acid battery types: flooded (conventional car type), sealed gel-type, deep-cycle type, AGM type etc. It will provide up to 25 Amp of controlled charging current for these batteries, provided adequate alternator supply is available.  In addition it will act to protect this auxiliary battery during discharge, by disconnecting loads before "low-voltage" is reached.
